These two PGA TOUR legends have come together for the first time ever to design a course which has impeccable fairways, challenging greens and is surrounded by a picturesque layout. From its loblolly pines and open meadows on the front nine to its 200 year old live oaks and shady canopies on the back, this course is one that you will never forget. The signature of this course is the coquina rocks which are lined around sparkling lakes and spread around deep bunkers and cart paths. This course can be challenging for the experienced and average golfers alike, with its varying tee boxes ranging from 5,119 yards up to 7,279 yards.
Built in 2000, King and Bear has already been host to events including the 2001 and 2002 Liberty Mutual’s Legends of Golf, a Champions Tour event, and the Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf match between Palmer and Nicklaus in May 2000 which marked the opening of the course.
