Omni Amelia Island Resort
The Omni Amelia Island Resort, which was the original resort on the island, has three golf courses: Long Point, Oak Marsh, and its newest addition, Little Sandy Short Course. Oak Marsh, designed in 1972 by Pete Dye, offers challenges for novice and professional golfers alike. The course played host to the 1991 PGA Section Championship and the 1992 Society of Seniors Championship as well as numerous other championships throughout its history.
The Omni Amelia Island Resort was selected as Condé Nast Traveler’s Top 121 Golf Resorts in the World. Long Point was selected for "Golfweek" magazine's "America's Top 100 Resort Courses". The resort sits on 1,350 acres between the tranquil beaches of the Atlantic and the tidal marshes of the Intracoastal Waterway. The secluded island paradise offers a resort and golf experience like no other. Boasting 36 holes of championship golf that have received numerous awards and distinctions, the course is known for having tight fairways and small greens, and is a challenge for all levels of golfers. After your round of golf, you can relax by one of the pools, rejuvenate your mind and body at the spa, or experience culinary delight at one of the many convenient dining locations. Be sure to stop by the newest addition to Omni Amelia Island Resort, Little Sandy, a short course featuring 10 holes through a picturesque lowland oak marsh habitat.
Golf Club of Amelia Island
Designed by PGA Tour veteran Mark McCumber and legendary golfer Gene Littler, this award winning 18 hole, par 72 course has been named one of the “Top 10 World’s Best Golf Resorts” by Travel & Leisure Golf. If that doesn’t convince you, maybe the two tennis courses, private beach club, and social activities including holiday festivities and happy hours might make it more enticing. The club is also home to The Performance Golf Academy where you can work on your swing and receive personalized instruction for players of all levels.
The Amelia River Club
The Amelia River Club is one of the most prestigious courses in all of North Florida. Designed by Tom Jackson, this track plays 18 holes around a forest of grand Oaks, Sabal Palms, Pines, Wax Myrtles, and live marshes, with 6,808 yards from the back tees. Large greens and rolling fairways are a trademark of The Amelia River Club and provide a challenge where ball control, accuracy, and precision will rest heavily on your performance. This club also offers you a top-tier practice facility with a newly built performance center.
Fernandina Beach Golf Club
Winding through the shade of the towering oak and pine trees, the Fernandina Beach Golf Club offers 27 holes with generous fairways and one-of-a-kind challenges. Its close proximity to both Jacksonville and Georgia and its sub-tropical climate make it as much of a golf destination as a relaxing day-trip getaway. The facility includes a full-service restaurant and clubhouse perfect for unwinding after a long day on the greens. Stop by the Toptracer-powered Lighthouse Driving Range, where you can compete against friends, play virtual courses, and receive instant shot feedback. The world’s best players use it—now you can, too

Enjoy 18 holes of breathtaking landscape that is as beautiful as it is challenging. Meticulously maintained greens, strategically bunkered fairways, and the ever-shifting ocean breeze ensure no two rounds are ever the same. While you enjoy championship golf, you can explore the pristine beaches or bask in the sun as you swim or walk along the shores of the Atlantic. One of the most popular beach destinations in the world, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island provides a welcome barrier between you and the rest of the world.
The Golf Club of Amelia Island is the only public-access oceanfront course and is adjacent to The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Ritz guests are entitled to premium tee times at discounted rates. The course is a traditional resort course, well-manicured and beautiful with two holes that offer views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is not a difficult course, as greens are generally unguarded and there are few sand traps. The fairways are wide open and rolling.
Practice Facilities on Amelia Island
Fernandina Beach Golf Club and The Amelia River Club have adequate practice facilities, but lack sand bunkers. Ferdinanda Beach just recently added the Lighthouse Driving Range by Toptracer where you can practice or have fun with friends and family.
